Restaurant Review : Look Out Pont Restaurant

If isn't for the atmosphere, this restaurant would have gone bankrupt!

Why i said so? Here are the list:
-Customer services are not taken seriously
-Parking are not managed
-They dont even know how to make a proper CAMPBELL can soup & Garlic bread sucks
-The waitress accused me ordered the wrong size of drinks, also admit they only serve BIG Size.

Nice view, but then mood spoilt by the restaurant. So didn't take any pictures but you can certainly find more blogs if u googled them and they will tell u for sure the food sucks!

Here is a shortcut!

I rather prefer the other restaurant about another few km's drive, but you need to go during the days and also a tall vehicle as the road is crappy and the atmosphere is very kampung. This restaurant serve fresh fish, fresh as in its on the river side. You choose, they cooked, you eat.. even the veges are grown there.

Addicted to COFFEE

I don't use to drink coffee all my life until college days. Even then I was not a coffee addict... until my relationship with Emelyn. She drinks coffee and does not have any problem sleeping, she doze off just like clicking on CTRL+ATL+DELETE and sleeps.

I am a drinker myself, I can consume a large amount of liquid at a short time... but that applies only for water, juices, milk & non-alcohol drinks. Emelyn like to share drinks with their partner so Emerlyn always leave half/quarter of her coffee for me. So ended up.. I am now addicted to COFFEE, preferably "Cham" (mixture of 70% Coffee & 25% Tea & 5% condense Milk)

Consuming too much of coffee makes my hands shaky... so this gives me an excuse to hold her hands. Don't I love Coffee... not more than I love Emelyn?

Movie Review : August Rush

Call me what you want, I certainly did enjoy watching this movie. My short synopsis of this movie would be "A musical fantasy which bonds the child and the parents together no matter where they are ". Thou Mr. Robin William plays a small role on this, certainly he did put his very special touch to beautified his character as the "Wizard".
The main characters role were played by Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Freddie Highmore were interesting thou there a minor touches which could be improved for better flow of the story but it's just my personal opinion.
But a show which you must enjoy with the soundtrack, the music is just nice.. musical with some slow rock?

Breakfast

The best meals I look for everyday and according to some research studies, it's the most important meals of the day.

I love breakfast, Malaysia has a lot of varieties of breakfast from eastern to western. What is your favourite breakfast that you don't get bored eating everyday? Me, I can't list them all... its too many but at one time I had the same breakfast for the whole week. It's in the TOP-50 List of My Fayourite 1st Meal of the day, CHEE CHONG FUN. An asian meal which can be taken for any time of day, even IKEA malaysia is serving it at RM0.99 depends to your luck.

This is a breakfast set I made last week for my parents and siblings, did you notice something weird? The sausage is actually a taiwan sausage, left-overs from steam-boat sessions. >:)

Sometimes one's meal left-over meal is another's mix-and-match meal.

I now craved for bagel with cream cheese and a warm coffee.

Hiking Days #0001

I have been into this old people's sport "Hiking" or some of you may call it mountain climbing.

Have been a city boy all my life, don't have appreciation for the nature's beautiful surrounding until I took my fat ass to climb Mt. Kinabalu on Sep'07. It was a great experience for a city boy like me, but upon touch down towards the Kota Kinabalu city I asked myself " why take a vacation where you need to suffer ? "

Anyway since I came back to KL, I didn't really stop this activity because:
1. This sport does not require you to buy expensive gears
2. Reduce my weight and also make a healthier fat-so
3. Nature beautiful surroundings

There was a hill near my place, it's call the Bukit Putih (White Hill) or some chinese might called it Ah Pak San (Old Men's Hill) as many retired people go there to hike. Many which are from another side of the city comes here for a good sweat, and not to mention to have deserts after the sweaty sessions.

Bukit Putih is a reserved forest, part of the Ulu Langat reserved forest if I am not mistaken, and has about 5 Levels of hiking. So far I only made it to level 3 and but by that time, most of the people which I met will have their cloths all wet... rainy or shiny day. There is 2 route back and for'd from level 1 which is much more easier to hike. I normally takes the hard route up and easy route down.

According to the hiking map at the desert stalls, right after level 5 there will be a waterfall which takes a short distance by foot. This I have yet to explore. Somehow there is a small river and also a small waterfall on Level 1 which has cold refreshing waters.If you google-ed this, I am sure you can see some nice pictures on the waterfall after Level 5.

There are 2 stalls selling fruits and chinese deserts drinks. Mostly hikers stayed to cool off their body and even a quick wash off the mud on the shoes. There is a small changing room by the side for the ladies to have a quick change. So far I went there for a few times, even on Chinese New Year where I met an uncle singing festive songs by the river. There are some nice pretty girls too, but I have no idea of their hiking schedule. (^-^)

Gears I used for hiking:
1. Shoes (any good grip which isn't flat will do)
2. Short pants and t-shirts (colorful will helps if you are lost)
3. Hiking Sticks (ratan sticks, remind me of those used by my declipine teachers to whack us)
4. Tower
5. Extra T-shirt to replace the sweaty one
6. Water in a bottle

So far, foods is not important for my hiking session as the trip will only takes 1.5 hours depending on path conditions & those I hike with. So far now, I goes with my retired parents and uncles. My girlfriend just join me recently, she still needs some time to built up the stamina. Next stop, the waterfall after Level 5 but I must gather more people for this. I had a negative image here, after attending the waterfall... I need to climb my ass out again. Damn

But so far, the experience is a great one compare to gym (not saying gym is bad). I get to sweat all I had at the end of the hiking session.

It's Big Mistake v.1.03

I just recently had the orientation with the company, you know the usual stuffs of what this company does, what you can do and cant do to move forward. Its been 6 months now, this is my first orientation. I must be neglected or something?

Malaysian Services*

Many people visited M'sia for the past year commented the people here are very friendly and helpful. Most of them uses the word "hospitality"

Do u felt it if you are a local M'sian or does this only applies to our visitors only? Should I pretend to be someone from HK in order to get better services. Could someone even provide me the "chart" of this service-charge? Should companies which charges "service charge atleast perform their percentage of service performance level?

Senario #1
I went to a Gwai-lo KR' restaurant which sells rosted chicken. They do not provide me their cutery for dining, I tried calling the waiters available but they are too busy talking to each other and at the end of the meal... I need to go to the counter to pay my bills. Yet I need to pay my 10% of service charge

Senario #2
Went to a 24/7 fast food M' restaurant, had my breakfast at 04.45AM. The guys hanging outside shouted "sorry we are closed". Then drove to another branch in PJ (also listed 24/7), no one were at the counter... a worker there was mopping the kitchen floor saw me. So I called "excuse me?...." in a manly voice and yet he ignore me. I was thinking once they declare "customer comes 1st?" or something like that... then I shouted "EXCUSE ME?!..." for 4 times, a lady in the office quickly comes out to entertain me without an apology or any conversation to cool me off.

Senario #3
Working at night and unable to get out of the office, my colleague order from M' fast food restaurant and they say "we have got too many orders, we can't process your order. Please try again after 1.5 hours later?" WTF? You already meet your quota for the night? Damn

Senario #4
Election is coming near, the political respresentatives are doing their best to lure support from the M'sians. You can see now all the roads are now fixed to proved their services to the citizens. Many advertisements were made on the everywhere accussing this and that and also explaining their promised made from the previous elections. Some of which never came true but they are now fulfilling it before 8 Mar'08. Someone once said on the radio "I wished its election every year, because at the time of election all our demands/issues are attended to immediately. Things which are impossible to be fullfilled for years will be fullfilled to the citizens just by a-day's work"

So my conclusions come to this:
All the things that whom-ever promised you on their advertisement, on their promises or even on their "gentlement's agreement". Black-&-white or NOT. There always this "*" hidden agenda.

Ok, a little help to locate the best suitable English phrase to replace this word "犯賤" ... I tried translating it but ended up something else.

Lets kick off with this which I always remind myself.

Why humans are "犯賤" species? Well, being human you tend to be greedy and you are bless with choices. I am human, therefore let me put "I" as an example. I used to think I am "poor" as money was never dropped from the trees. But how do I consider myself rich?

By having 1 Million Dollars in the bank, hell I can do that by opening a bank account in Indonesia.

...however if I were to inherit a great deal amount, I am rich but still humans will compare to the next best thing. If I am just rich with 1 Million in my bank, however some kids at the age of 18 already 30 times more than me. Then its another new ball game... and it make humans "犯賤" and I am who I am...

A Year ago I Signed up the MERDEKA package (so-m'sian) then got the standard 1.0 Mbps for RM77 / Monthly. Free Modems & Promotions added ... they also mention Terms and Conditions Apply. 1 of the T & C's that I left out seeing and I'm sure 99.9% end-usered encountered.... "You will encounter blood and money sucking pain until further notice".

What could I say more? I did my part explaining to your 24x7 phone support, they promise they will do their "very best". When you are failed to deliver, encounter power failure... and giving us "down time"... did you send a sms or even pay us back for the time and money we have lost?

You can do what we normal citizen / consumer can't do... so we declare u as GOD. Atleast god will grant me wishes... but u gave me this instead ! U sure blow people's top to the x-stream-Y?

A Tribute to Faye

Its been a very sad time of the year for the family, especially someone so young passed away...

I refer her as someone as she was close to me. She happens to be a pet dog miniature pinscher, she was my jogging partner. Thou she was small, she was able to jog endlessly. Among the pet I have had in my life, our relationship between the master and pet was something different and special. Accident happened while we were out for a walk. She was hit by a 4x4, it happened in front of my eldest brother eyes too. He shouted.. the car freed off and he was stoned.

I quickly took her, drove down the emergency vets but it was just too late. She already left the moment she was hit and drop to the ground. There was a fractured in the neck bone.

It was a lost for the whole family, my parents were out away and I was the eldest in the family take decision. Tears were shatthered just by thinking of her? I prayed thru the nights and i missed her being next to anyone of us whenever we chant. In the morning my youngest brother and I buried her in the gardens, according to an old friend as Faye's soul and spirit can be with the family.

As for the "killer", never dared to showed up. If we ever see him/her again... what can he/she do to ease the pain?

I know something are meant to be in life, enjoying and cherishing everyone in life was something I must keep up with. Silence in the house do make us felt sad mostly as in our hearts we could hear her bells rings whenever we are in the house. The silence can be replaced, but a life which is so unique is un-replaceable.

Its been a almost a month now, we just wish faye for a better life in the next-life.

last 4 months, I used to have an average 2 meals a day... called it "brunch" and "dinner".

Now after attached for 1 month with this new company, after effect of having 3 average meals a day have resulted of me loosing my sight*. I was thinking of seeing the eye doctor but came to think of it.... there was another symptoms that seems to be the answer to all these.

Just last week, as I was looking down while bucking up my pants it seems like I can see a huge muscle slowly developing from the middle of my body (between the chest and the groin)

This resulted a blockage direct viewing of my "M" or some of u may refer that as a "Þ≡Иļ$" (break this code and u may win something?)

illness and sickness...

Its been on-off lately, these 2 pals came for a visit and never really leave. Its been 3 weeks, please go bug someone else.

what if the end results happens:
human resource made a mistake => the company paid me applying to human resource mistake => can't pay the proposed sum of debt that my "along" => got to the papers with the side impact from the "along" ?

conclusion: it all started with a small mistake.... ended with another De-Ja-Vu "big"-mistake

It's a Big Mistake?

It has been awhile since i last blog, eventually I've been hiding... from something I could not make up my mind on. I probably will blog about that some other day.

Well, here I am to announce I've found a permanent job. A job that I can route my career back to the I.T. industry since I last graduated from my degree. Sad to say after so many years of working in different industries... I did not ended up rich! However, I am rich as I got to know more people?

"Will I be long in the I.T. industry? Will I ever have a better salary? Will I achieve something and make it to a career?" Like anyone else, I would just like to have a better living. Probably just let the ball rolls and play by ear.

Anyway, for most of u guys out there probably interested where was I the last few years. Since I last graduated from University, I was in this trade and finance industry. Working as a backend processor, life wasnt too great. I dont even have an actual working computer at home. Internet was so darn slow I dont even have a broadband. The company was SCOPE Int'l, I was thinking probably I have the chance to move to the I.T. dept someday as its under 1 roof. However, moving from one dept. to another is like a mission impossible at that time. So after working for a year, I manage to get into another kind of industry...

Automotive industry, I was with this company manufacturing FRP parts for OEM car manufacturers. It was fun, I had many post there in the company. I even worked on the Myvi Sport Concept Project. As a car-addict, I have no words to describe my satisfaction. Then the manufacturing plant moved away from the city, and produce ABS parts. It was another level of the body-kits product in M'sia and I can assure u this.... M'sia had its very 1st ABS plastic body-kit manufacturer and the country did not acknowledge! Its great, because if I did something so damn great.. I dont want my country to acknowledge me as some DATO' or some TAN SRI' or wat-ever-shit! Somehow it seems like the company has set its vision on "profits" rather than producing some great bodykits for its industry. Personally, it really does tune down my passion of work... and somehow after 2 years I decided to resigned.

I.T. industry was something I need to put in my resume, so to start things out I became a Sales Person. I was attached to a so-called-australian based Multimedia Solution comp. Somehow or rather, I felt like I was in a China-man payroll. The team I worked with was great, and I had great time there. Got to know many people too, one of them is Mr.Wacom! haha... he is a designer and spokes person for Wacom products and was responsible for some of the design on that Proton Gen.2!

Somehow or rather, after the previous job.. my passion seems to have lost. I had no idea where my career path should be. I quit the job before even had any confirmation with the company thou I was working like 11months there?! Why u asked... its probably the way of a australian-local chinese company ?!? (*-*) Still pissed but happy I quit the job even without wat might my bonus be.

I was broke, thou happy and had a life mission given from my family to help sell out their business. So I was the back-end processor clearing craps for the family bakery business. Its sad to see the business goes, but my parents are old and they are screaming for retirement since 3 years ago. Sad to say, I was not financially stable to ensure them for a retirement life. But seeing them able to work out a retirement "MYR" ($o$)" makes me proud to be a bakery-son! Still these 2 old farts give me craps all the time, and now being retired and living together. I have no idea how life will be starting from last quarter of 2007. Its always unfair being the eldest? Craps

28 Oct. 2007, its a permanent payday IBM! I am attached to level 1 support, so far the team is great, the pay is OK, and the life seems to run a little smooth compare to my previous job... but its just the 1st month of work. So hopefully I'm able to save some "MYR" to get to the next level of bachelor life and save more money? I am broke... but I still got money. So after looking back, u be the judge of my career path. Is it a big mistake? (0_<)
